Summary
Kura Sushi Rewards is a loyalty program for guests to sign up to gain special promotions, get on the waitlist, and find their closest location. The app provides a useful and pleasing experience adding to the tech-forward brand of the company.
Logo Design
After deliberation and taking inventory of brand elements within other advertisement, the square stacked logo inside of the patented Mr. Fresh was ultimately chosen due to the uniqueness of the contraption, its symbolizm of freshness and technology, and pleasing visual for IOS and Android icon formats.

Initial Interface Design
To create a branded app that displays fun and recognizable experiential motifs while adhering to the PUNCHH interface capabilities.

Final Design
Results from a conducted focus group showed the initial design featuring the Japanese mascot Mutenmaru was considered too childlike for the average user, and needed an upgrade.
The update incorporated a popular habit for dining guests which is the stacking of plates before disposing them into the plate slot. Plate stacking is a common occurence especially with guests using social media to show off how many items they can consume in a sitting.
The stacked plates fill in from white and gray to while and blue as guests process their payment and recieve points for money spent. Once the stacked plates on the interface is full, they receive a $5 reward which displays at the bottom of the window.

Print UX Design
Kura Sushi restaurant advertisement style stems from Japanese store experience with movement, colors, and use of many surfaces for different purposes. The goal of these designs is to stand out from the rest.
Kura’s menus are branded black with white, while the Bikkura Pon Prizes include elements such as prizes from the prize ball machine, and other brand IP in the collaboration. The final designs for these ads are bright blue to stand out from the rest of the dining experience to guide guests to download and use the app upon their first time in the restaurant.
